Walter Poole MFA (disabled war veteran) works in a unique medium--silver electroless on wood panels. Silver is applied on textured surfaces then layered with polymer coatings to create an iridescent, translucent surface that manipulates light.
He delves into realism and non-representational, jumping from one to the other. He feels both are of equal importance. In the same way, he works in silver one day, the next he will paint in oil. In this way, Walter Poole separates himself from the majority of artists who confines themselves within one genre.
